Course Description

Advisory: ESL D272. and ESL D273., or ESL D472. and ESL D473., or eligibility for ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000H or ESL D005.; *** COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course provides an overview of the strategies to implement a green building project within an organization. Strategies covered will include green building policies, best practices, and guidelines including LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), passive solar design, use of sustainable materials, and energy efficiency in buildings, as well as an assessment of the impact of construction and buildings on society, economics, and the environment. Prerequisites : E SD070. , E SD071.
