Course Description

Description Study of the Bible as literature and religious tradition. Includes the examination of the types of literature found in the Bible, and the historical and religious context in which the literature was developed. Provides an extensive reading of the two testaments. . This course is offered as ENGL 175 and RELIG 175. Prerequisite: Departmental Recommendation(s): Eligibility for ENGL C1000ý(formerly ENGL 101).
