This course focuses on the development of critical thinking, reading and writing skills through experience with literature, including fiction, poetry, plays, and criticism. PREREQUISITES: ENGL C1000(formerly English 1A) or ENGL C1000H (formerly English 1AH). (A, CSU, UC, CAL-GETC) (C-ID ENGL 120)
