HIST235 - History of Latin America

Recommendation: Courses taught at the level of Introduction to College Composition with a grade of 'C' or higher or 'Pass' or equivalent or appropriate placement based on the college's multiple measures process with eligibility for ENGL C1000 or ENGL C1000E or a course at the level of college reading.This course is a study of the history of Latin America from the development of Pre-Columbian cultures to the present. The experiences of individual countries are studied as an integrated whole focusing on the roles played by the diverse peoples and cultures.
