ENGLB1B - Introduction to Types of Literature

Prerequisites: Successful completion of ENGL B1A or ENGL B1AL or EMLS B1A or equivalent with a grade of C or better. Description: Introductory course in literature, comprising critical analysis of notable works in prose fiction, drama, and poetry, with emphasis on evaluating the logical relationship between form and content and on formulating criteria for artistic judgment.
