PHYS11 - Descriptive Intro-Physics
Course Description
This course utilizes lectures and demonstrations to present various principles of physics in a non-mathematical manner. Newton's Laws of motion and gravitation, momentum, work, energy, and heat will be presented. Other topics will be selected from properties of matter, fluids, sound, light, electricity and magnetism, atomic and modern physics, special and general relativity. *Note: Students will not receive UC credit for Physics 11 if taken after Physics 1A or Physics 2A. Prerequisite: TI Physics 11<197>3 Units DS Descriptive Introduction to Physics AD eligibility for English 84 NT Credit will not be granted to student who has completed a NT college physics course.
