OCEAN10 - Intro Oceanography

Course Description

Introduction to the major physical, biological, chemical, and geological processes at work in the oceans. Covers the formation and evolution of the oceans and seafloor features, the dynamics and interactions of currents, waves, coastal processes, weather systems, climate, seawater chemistry, marine ecosystems, and society. May be offered in a distance-learning format. CAB GE B, Cal-GETC 5A, 5C.
